Winter Break Travel

Hello families,


As we prepare for our winter break, we wanted to provide you with this information if you are planning on traveling outside of Canada:


The federal government continues to outline requirements for people travelling internationally, including the United States and Mexico: 

  • Students, staff, and other adults who are not fully vaccinated and have travelled outside of Canada CANNOT attend school until a minimum 14 days after arrival, as part of federal requirements
    • Fully vaccinated means having proof of being Double Vaccinated
  • Fully vaccinated students, staff, and other adults who have travelled outside of Canada may qualify for the fully vaccinated traveler exemption
    • individuals qualified as fully vaccinated travelers are exempt from quarantine and from Day-8 testing.

Temporary exemptions for residents and essential workers in British Columbia. In response to the flooding and mudslides, BC residents and essential workers who must travel by land to or through the United States are exempt from pre-entry, arrival, and Day-8 testing and quarantine requirements.
