We are continuing on our journey with engaging students with more hands on learning opportunities in order to deepen their learning.  We have been asking our students about what big ideas they are learning and as we have collected the data, we are noticing that some of our older students are able to name one big idea and most students are saying they are learning about math, or spiders, or adding, etc..  This is a great start to being able to name Big Ideas and we will continue to teach using intentional language about big ideas and competencies learned in class so that students can name these with ease and confidence.

BIG IDEA:  The choice of technology and tools depends on the task​.
